Audrey Maben is India’s first Woman Microlight Flight Instructor.

She took to the skies as a young NCC cadet when she was just 15 and instantly knew that flying was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

After winning a national competition as The All India Best Girl Glider Pilot in 1993-94, she obtained her first glider’s pilot license.

She then went on to obtain her microlight pilot’s license and set a national record at The Air Race India 2003.

In 2007, she became the country’s first woman flight instructor.

Apart from flying, she is also the founder of I Can The Learning Centre school in Mysore which is amongst Mysore’s finest schools.
